Katy Fischer works mostly on paper, with gouache and collage. She received her education at RISD and Art Institute of Chicago and has been teaching with TAC for a while now. She has been featured in many group and solo shows all over the country. Her works are beautiful detailed depictions of intricate objects, like beads or feathers, and sparse natural environments. She focuses on detail, pattern and shape, instilling a stillness in her work, while giving the subject life and dimension. Check it out!
