DIY Pop Up Cards
|
I have decided to send actual letters. My friend is currently living in Los Angeles, and I want to communicate with him more personally than a text! When was the last time you sent a personal letter in the mail? Maybe it is just me but it seems like it has been years. As close as I have come has been writing a note to a peer during a college lecture. Anyways, I have decided it’s time to start! I want to make them as fun and happy as possible. I saw this great tutorial on making pop up heart cards at Mini Eco! I immediately fell in love with this idea and made my own. Not using the template she provides, mine has a bit of a messy, childlike charm to it. Template or not, the cards look sweet and simple. He got the letter and said it was wonderful…I cannot wait to have a back and forth using the actual mailbox! Here are pictures from Mini Eco’s tutorial:

What Inspires You?
It’s a slow rainy day here in New York, and I can’t help but feel a little lethargic and, quite frankly, uninspired to create much. Well! dash those uninspired flames, and here are some things that are on my mood/inspiration
