Come get your hands dirty!

The spring weather is in full swing. Amidst the cherry blossoms and robins nesting the seedlings are growing fast at the Textile Arts Center and our Natural Dye Garden is well underway. With a full season of growing ahead of us, we need your help to push us into full production! Volunteer support is always welcome and needed – our open volunteer hours are:

TUESDAYS 2pm – 6pm

SATURDAYS 10am-2pm

LOCATION: Bergen St. Between 4th and 3rd

Subway stop: Atlantic Avenue

Come on over and get your hands dirty! We will be working on constructing raised beds, raking and cleaning our plot, moving stones, making a wooden pallet walking path, spreading mulch and so much more! Please stop by for just a few hours or the whole day, this is a great opportunity to learn about urban gardening first hand and help us beautify the city. Get out and enjoy the sun with us.

I love following your blog – gardening is so much more fun when there’s a group of you working together…..enjoy your day ( could you pop down to NZ and help me anytime?) :)
