Every wondered if there was more to the cocktails that you enjoy, especially during the festive season? Well some cleaver folk over at the Florida State University’s chemistry labs were curious enough to put the alcohol drinks under the mic, quite literally.

The company called Bevshots, has developed a series of photographic images of everyones favourite booze under the microscope. An incredible array of shapes, colours and patterns  are the result with each tasty beverage producing a distinct pretty picture.

Dry Martini

Tequila

Imagine these as lush prints floating down the next fashion runways of Paris, Milan and New York…amazing!! Just goes to show, inspiration can come in many forms, even from under a scientists microscope!

So during this holiday season, when you’re sipping on that forth martini, imagine what interesting patterns it has hiding in it’s liquidy goodness, enjoy!
