At PRINTSOURCE: Print Structures Stay the Same

While Printsource is always exciting, the basics are always familiar. They are there to tie Spring/Summer 2013 season into the long line of “seasons” dating back some two thousand years. Textile Design has it’s rules like any formal area of study, and when you are looking at textiles, old or new, it is useful to also know some of the names of the print structures. The typical structures of a print are too many to list here, but these are a few that always re-emerge, season after season, year after year. Convenient examples included! Damask
