This week, TAC’s artists in residence explored the importance of writing in an artist’s practice and career. Writing is a key component to communicating to others about works of art,  as well as a valuable tool for artists to organize their own ideas.

In this workshop, designed by Jordana Martin, the artists explored writing about what textiles meant to them, early inspiration, and explored the potential of descriptive language through writing about textiles placed in front of them.
